Shoshone and Sheepeater
Traditional Tools Created from Native Materials
Kevin makes authentic reproductions of Plains Indians bows and arrows, and tack, which he considers to be one of a kind pieces and which represents a historical and educational form of art.
Kevin was born on the Wind River Indian Reservation just east of Jackson Hole and Dubois, WY. Ranching has been his lifetime pursuit and fortunately it’s complimented his passion of learning about his Mother’s people, the Eastern Shoshone of Wyoming. Growing up working on the traditional lands of his ancestors has given him a love and appreciation of nature. Building traditional equipment has given him a better understanding of the land, the wildlife, and a greater appreciation of his Mother’s people. He enjoys learning and sharing this knowledge with others.
We hope you enjoy his Native Art Work and his story telling.
Besides doing traditional craftwork, Kevin writes fiction and non-fiction stories inspired by growing up and living in the Land of the Shoshone.
